I receive these scam emails via my online quilt store on a daily basis.  Rather than be annoyed with them, I decided to mess with them.  See exchange below taken verbatim from the email:

Dear Sales,
My name is Benny Fred, am American citizen but i live and work here in Norway. I will like to order some of your product into my store here in Norway.So kindly get back to me with the  right contact Email,Phone # and reconfirm your website so that the order  will be place quickly.Also do you accept Visa or Master card for payment?

I haven't blogged in a while.  I've been a little busy.  I started a new business venture to fund this quilting venture.  I am now a Premier Designs jeweler!  Oh my gosh, you guys, I am having so much fun!  I earned almost $1000 in free jewelry my first show and made $700 cash!  I know!  What the heck was I thinking...I should've done the jewelry thing BEFORE I did the quilting thing.

Actually, I wouldn't change a thing.  My plan is to pay off my small business loan with my jewelry profits.

Let's talk about quilting!  I just signed up for the Let's Go Dotty program through the FabShopNetwork.  I'm really excited about this one.  It's a block of the month program, but I think I'm going to offer a few different options.  First of all, I'm not a huge fan of polka dots, but we do carry a few of them.  We'll be doing one "Prairie" quilt and one "Shabby Chic" quilt.  That way we cover the bases with our prairie chic style.  I am so cool...I know.  SO...I thought for our prairie quilt, we'd use fabrics from the Wildflower Serenade II collection.  And for the Shabby Chic quilt, we'll use the Sumptuous Living collection by Robyn Pandolph.  Look for the Let's Go Dotty program in Rocktober.  Did she say ROCKtober?  Yep...I did (child of the 80's, what can I say).

I finished my wall hanging pattern for the Rowdy Kids collection.  I am pretty pleased with it!  I just need to have Quilting Bob test it for accuracy then it will be ready for the store.  The kit will be available with two different center blocks.  The one shown here of the girl outside the principal's office and this one of the little boy and his dog.  Whaddyathink??

From my Facebook:  Army wives is so stupid.  And I'm never watching Weeds again.  Nancy is a crappy mom and this show has jumped the shark.  And Jon and Kate is everything I hate, so I won't be watching that either.  When the hell does Entourage and Big Love start?  And when will they bury Michael Jackson?  Enough already.  I did, however, buy Michael Jackson's Greatest Hits compilation for my iPod.

I am so lame.  While I was working on the fabric biz, I watched the Lifetime Movie Network all day.  Every time they show "Mother May I Sleep With Danger?" starring Tori Spelling, I have to watch it.  What the H. E. double hockey sticks is wrong with me?
