So I went to Donna's house to help her get her sewing room all squared away.  We ripped the carpet out of Erin's room and just look what we found!!

Erin and Donna putting the shelf together.  Or should I say the effing shelf? We had to take the effing thing apart because it wouldn't fit up the stairs. Then the girls tried to put it back together.  At this point I had written the thing off.  I was done. In the end, Terry helped us get it up.  It was about 1am when it was finished.  Donna said she wasn't going to bed until it was done.

Finished shelf.  We're gong to make valances out of this Flirt fabric by Robyn Pandolph.  Won't these make great curtains???  I love it!

Donna is my husband's twin sister.  And I love her to death. 

Top 10 Reason's why I love Donna:

10.  She never makes me feel guilty about spending money.  Her motto is "You can't take it with you."

9.  She has great hair.

8.  I know she'd be my friend even if I would never have met her brother.

7.  She will give you the shirt off her back, even if it means she's just wearing only a bra.

6.  She likes to eat as much as I do.

5.  She just bought a brand new Viking Sapphire sewing machine and is waiting for ME to get to her house before she takes it out of the box.

4.  She has a bunch of cool jobs (salon owner, delivers mail, drives a school bus and refs high school sports).

3.  She has great taste in shoes.

And the number one reason why I love Donna?!

1.  She didn't give a crap that I said the F word a bunch of times during the Women of Faith conference.

Ugh...am I the only one who can't stand Nickelback?  I mean really...as soon as I hear that voice I have to change the station.  Now Pink, on the other hand, I just love, love, love.  Did she say pink?  Isn't this supposed to be a quilting blog? What the heck?  Quitcherbellyachin...here's some more pretty pink fabric to look at.

On another note...
 
It was a busy weekend, and I didn't get one bit of quilting done.  I did, however, sell another tote bag - yippie!  Had to work all weekend (at my regular job).  School is getting out this week and it looks like the crazy days of summer will be upon me before I know it.
